Role and Responsibilities:
As a Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in assisting our young participant with daily activities, ensuring their well-being and safety. Your responsibilities will include:
– Providing personal care and support with daily living activities
– Assisting with behavioural management and implementing positive behaviour strategies
– Encouraging and facilitating participation in social, recreational, and community activities
– Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualised support plans
– Monitoring and reporting on the participant’s progress and well-being

Qualifications and Requirements:
– Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role, working with individuals with significant behaviours
– NDIS Worker Screening Check
– QLD Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
– Strong understanding of behavioural management techniques and strategies
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Physical fitness and stamina to engage in active support and activities
– Compassionate, patient, and resilient nature
