Magnus Health Therapeutic Support

Real change in human behaviour can be achieved. It happens when an individual’s core triggers are identified, and strategies are developed to create a life-changing action plan which is then followed through. We work in connection with the Department of Corrections and the courts, and we understand that tangible change is possible. We are dedicated to working with you to facilitate that change and help you reintegrate into society seamlessly, and with mitigated possibilities of reoffending.  Our Director, Shelley Jacks, plays a pivotal role in providing guidance and expertise to her colleagues, ensuring the highest standards of care and therapy are met.

Magnus Health is focused on person-centred support; we believe in an individual’s strength to achieve their goals and aspirations. We aim to provide support workers that align with our participant’s wants, needs and interests to ensure they feel comfortable and enjoy the time spent with our company. Magnus Health values and understands the importance of effective communication, which is why we obtain both written and verbal feedback from our participants and carers. We do this through surveys, emails, phone calls and drop-ins to ensure we are constantly improving.

Magnus Health Supporting People with a Disability
Magnus Health Mental Health Training

We offer in-person and online training to other organisations that provide Disability Support Workers with the skills and confidence to do their job effectively. Boundaries are vital in the care industry, whether that be physical or emotional. Our training can be tailored to include specific boundary issues that your company has identified. Some topics that we cover are; not sharing personal information with participants, mobile phone usage at work, gift giving/receiving and maintaining professional boundaries (not hugging or saying ‘I love you)
